JONZAC, A THERMAL BATH TOWN
The troglodytes thermal baths of Jonzac are set in an ancient quarry. The establishment sits between robust pillars of rock that make the place intimate. Its hydrothermal well is unique by its content in sulphur and mineral nutrients, recommended for the treatment of several ailments: rheumatoid arthritis, respiratory tract conditions and DVT.
The thermal baths attract 17000 tourists per year and has become the 7th thermal bath resort in France, thanks to the quality of the baths, the water and the treatments in the center, as well as the sunny climate.

COGNAC
As XO gite is both next to a Cognac producer and named after the finest Cognac, we would be amiss to not mention some tasting ideas! The incredible Cognac Bertrand vineyard is just four minutes away located at 12 Les Brissons, 17500 Réaux-Sur-Trèfle. We'd be happy to arrange a tour and tasting if you like.

A short drive North into Cognac town you can visit:
Remy Martin
Hennessy
We also highly recommend Hotel Chais Monnet & Spa - not only does it have incredible restaurants but there is a rooftop bar with Cognac cocktails overlooking the city.
